The University uses 7 different referencing styles, set by each department. To learn about which style you need to use for your course, you can either visit your subject guide or find your department in the list below. If you take modules from other departments, you can also check if they use a different style.

Once you know what style your department uses, you can scroll down on this page to find links to style guides, videos, information, and opportunities to practice constructing citations in your departmental style.
