Welcome to Skills at Library, our information literacy support for Essex students and researchers!

Our Skills at Library service includes online learning guides, the 'Information Skills' Moodle course, workshops and training sessions, and one-to-one support. We are here to help you develop the information skills needed for academic work and life beyond university. This guide will take you through the basics of using the Library for the first time and on to more advanced information literacy skills. Use this guide however works for you. Go through each lesson in turn or skip to the section you need. It's up to you!
