For more information on an item, you just have to click on it. This will show you the availability of the item, as well as giving you more bibliographic details:
If the resource can be found as a print copy in our library, it will look like this:
This shows you the location and classmark of the item, as well as telling you whether there are any copies currently available in the library.
Online resources available in our library, such as e-books or journal articles, are really easy to access through your reading list.
If an item is available online, there will be a 'View Online' button to the right of the item information, as well as a note under availability showing a digital copy with an 'Available Online' button.
To access the resource, simply click through one of these buttons.

Some reading lists will also have scanned extracts of chapters or articles available, known as digitisations. You can access these via your reading list in the same way as you can other online resources.
You will need to sign in with your University of Essex username and password in order to access the digitisation, which will open in a new page.
You are then able to download or print the scanned extracts for your own personal use by using the buttons in the top left hand corner:
Note that digitisations can be accessed from the start of the term during which the module is running.
