The most important part of our guidance is how you use it. You take the information into your work and help shape a better research culture. Here are some quick ways you can get involved and make a difference:

  • Share your research and contribute to discussions. Help battle the rise of misinformation by getting your high-quality research out there. Our research visibility guide and the University's Communications Team can help you get your work seen by the right audience.

  • Adopt open research practices in your research and training. This can help improve the integrity and visibility of your research and embed a fairer, more sustainable culture for yourself and future researchers.

  • Use our free gamified learning tools to help your colleagues and students get a better understanding of key research topics.

  • Join the Newcomers Network to find out about new opportunities and connect with PGRs and other Early Career Researchers.

  • Academic colleagues can join the Essex Student Journal's advisory board to share your expertise and help make this great opportunity even better.

If you can't find what you're looking for above, take a look at our FAQs or contact the Research Support Team. We are happy to answer questions by email or arrange a 1-1 to discuss your query.
