Skills at Library workshops

Skills at Library workshops are a great opportunity to practice information skills, learn alongside your peers, and get instructor feedback. Our 8 core workshops are offered regularly online and in person, and will take you through the basics of using the Library and on to more advanced information literacy skills needed for academic study and research.

About appointments

  • Appointments are primarily offered online via Zoom unless you request to meet in-person (some of our librarians also offer in-person availability).
  • Appointments are for 30 minutes. Please try to be on time, and let us know if you have any problems attending the appointment.
  • If you cannot make the appointment, please cancel it via the link in your confirmation email as soon as possible.

Please note:

  • We cannot proof read your assignments or correct references for unmarked assignments.
  • We do not offer support with academic skills (writing, structuring work, proofreading strategies, etc). Contact Skills for Success for support in those areas.
  • Support for Endnote is offered through IT Services. You can find workshops on Endnote in CareerHub and support materials on Moodle.
