Economics

The Economics subject guide gives you access to useful library databases and trusted Web resources, relevant for researching many topics in economics or finance

News

Working papers & preprints (see above) are useful for current awareness, but news sources & blogs are even more up to date. Two important sources of quality news in Economics & Finance that the Library subscribes to are:

The Library subscribes to Factiva, a Dow Jones product, which offers extensive business & financial news.
The Library also subscribes to Refinitiv Workspace, which offers access to Eikon incorporating Reuters business news (functionality includes company specific news and sentiment analysis).

Other useful places to look are major media organisations, such as BBC Economy News, New York Times Economy pages, and other commercial providers like Bloomberg.

The library also has access to the Financial Times Historical Archive (1888-2016) and the Economist Historical Archive (1843-2015)
