Eurostat
Official source for EU statistical publications and data. Excellent source for many topics
Market Access Database
Aims at providing EU businesses with data on trade, trade barriers, applied tariffs (import duties & internal taxes). See also customs tariffs data from TARIC
United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE)
Includes some useful data culled from various sources (back to about 1990). For older data see its flagship publication:

The Albert Sloman Library was also, for many years, an official European Documentation Centre, receiving publications on a selective basis.
