NHS Knowledge and Library Hub

The NHS Knowledge and Library Hub brings together a vast range of databases, journals, NICE guidance and other support tools in one place.

Particularly useful for students on health-related courses who go on placement in NHS Trusts, content includes over 7,000 journals, e-books - including OUP handbooks, clinical decision support tools such as BMJ Best Practice, NICE pathways and guidelines and clinical and medical databases.

Full access is free to all NHS staff and learners using your NHS OpenAthens account. This account is separate to your University of Essex account and is not administered by the University Library. For further information and support please contact your local NHS knowledge and library service.

These summaries provide clinicians with actionable findings to improve healthcare and the public with accessible health information.
