What is RNIB Bookshare?

RNIB Bookshare UK education collection provides over 1 million accessible textbooks for learners with print disabilities, which you can download in a range of formats, including audio.

We will provide access to the platform for users who are referred to us by the Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity Service (SWIS). See RNIB Bookshare's information on who qualifies for access.

Instructions for using RNIB Bookshare

To access content on RNIB Bookshare:
 
  • Log into RNIB Bookshare with the username and password you have been supplied with.
  • Go to My Homepage to see the books assigned to your account.
  • Alternatively, independently search/access the book title you require.

You need to be registered with SWIS to be able to use this service. We can then create an account for you and assign books where available. Your login details will be sent in our Alternative Formats welcome email. Kaplan students are advised to contact their Disability Officer for access.
