We hope you will be able to use our training resources however works best for your students and module outcomes. To support learning progression, we have broken our training into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. These levels will translate differently depending on area of study and research needs.

We recommend a minimum of two embedded information literacy sessions for undergraduate students combined with independent study. Before starting any major assignments or their dissertation, students should be working at advanced-level information skills.

Postgraduates should be confident in advanced-level information literacy skills at the start of their course, but they may need to address some knowledge gaps. We recommend one intervention for postgraduate students.
