If you have not been to Loughton Campus before we recommend you take a look at the East 15 website, which includes a 360 degree virtual tour of campus, so you know how to find the library when you arrive.

Self-service opening

As we are a small team at Loughton not all of our opening hours are staffed. You can still use the library during these times, but you must remember your registration card so that you can open the door, use the self-service kiosk, and use the laptop loans locker.

  • If you have lost your card contact the student hub to arrange a replacement.
  • If your card isn't working then it may just need to update. Hold it against the card reader for over 10 seconds or until the blue light stops flashing, then wait and try it again. If it is still not working then contact the student hub to arrange a replacement.
  • If you are an alumi, please time your visit when the library helpdesk is staffed.

Even though staff aren't here we ask that you still follow the rules of the space (no food, only drinks with lids, quiet study only).

Want to make sure you are visiting when staff are here? Use the opening times link below to see when we are self service only and when the helpdesk is staffed.

Parking
