Self-service opening
As we are a small team at Loughton not all of our opening hours are staffed. You can still use the library during these times, but you must remember your registration card so that you can open the door, use the self-service kiosk, and use the laptop loans locker.
Even though staff aren't here we ask that you still follow the rules of the space (no food, only drinks with lids, quiet study only).
Want to make sure you are visiting when staff are here? Use the opening times link below to see when we are self service only and when the helpdesk is staffed.
All University of Essex students and staff members are able to visit Loughton Library and IT Centre to and use to borrow resources, print, borrow a laptop, visit the helpdesk, or use a study space.
