Finding online resources
There are a few ways you can find our online resources.
Through the library search
You can search for articles, journals, and databases using the library search.
Be sure to refine your searches to find exactly what you're after.
Browzine allows you to search for journals.
You can also download the app to search and use the Browzine e-reader.
The databases search shows all of the databases that the library subscribes to.
You can also browse our databases in list form and by subject using the Browse E-Resources link.
Accessing online resources
Once you've found the resource you want to access, click on the title. This will take you through to the resource's page.
You can then click on the Resource URL link or the Alternative login link (if one's available)
If you're on campus, you should be taken straight to the resource.
If you're off campus, you will need to log in using your Essex e-mail address and password.
If you study with the University of Essex via another institution, you will have access to our e-resources but not our physical collection.
