The click and collect service allows you to book a 30 minute time slot to pick up physical items from Colchester.
You can select up to 10 items to pick up per slot and you can book two slots per week (each with at least 24 hour notice).
If you are rebooking after cancelling a previous slot, but require the same books, please include a note in the request form to advise staff of this. This will inform us that your requested resources have not changed, and that we simply need to transfer them to a new time.

Please use electronic resources in the first instance and avoid travelling to campus where possible.
Loughton only: If you require physical items from the collection at Loughton please use our new 'Choose your own books' service.
Use this section to request books from the Albert Sloman Library at Colchester Campus.
You will be required to come to the main entrance door, square5/gallery side (unless otherwise indicated) and you must bring your registration card.
Please only attend once you have received confirmation of your booking and at your allocated time slot, ensuring you are wearing a face covering. You will be asked to show ID before being let in to collect your requested items. No further access will be permitted beyond this point unless you have a study space booked.
Hand sanitiser will be available.
Please note that confirmation emails for Colchester Click and Collect requests will not be sent between 5pm Friday and 12pm Sunday due to staff not being on site.
A click and collect service is available with members able to request books online or by phone for collection.
Click and Collect slots will be available between 10-4 Monday to Saturday. Please wait for an email confirming your pick up time before coming to the library.
To use click and collect, access the Southend Books Catalogue, log in and click the reserve button next to the book you would like to collect – you can reserve up to 7 books at a time.
